A year, IF your lucky. Unless you are getting rid of the car, don't do it.

Re: Cheapo Wheel Bearings?
Thanks. Thats what I'm finding. Looks like Timkens.
Re: Cheapo Wheel Bearings?
Yeah total waste of money, timkens are only 20 bucks more. I took a gamble once and never will again...
Re: Cheapo Wheel Bearings?
I also took that gamble and lost.
Re: Cheapo Wheel Bearings?
I have always used Timkens. On my second set in the Z. Just make sure you install the bearing seals. They help.

^ my 98 cavalier didn't come with them for some reason, I was kinda freaked out.
Re: Cheapo Wheel Bearings?
I would rather use junkyard hubs rather than the cheaper branded hubs found online or at teh local parts stores.

Re: Cheapo Wheel Bearings?
My last set of new Timkens lasted less than a year. They've been bought out and now do rebrands on wheel bearings.
National makes a good wheel bearing unit still, some parts stores carry them.
rockauto.com is your best friend, mine too.

Re: Cheapo Wheel Bearings?
I've used the "premium" auto parts brands, and the cheapo's, they are all garbage. Now I only just use delco's, and haven't had an issue since.

Re: Cheapo Wheel Bearings?
I cancelled my order. I'm seeing some differences in models. Can anyone tell me the right part number for the Timken front wheel bearing for the 95 base?
