How is he the hero, I was the one to suggest the course to find the problem.. LOLunsmart1 wrote:ron, youre a hero lol. I plugged the crank sensor and the OPSU at about 1:30 yesterday afternoon. At 6am this morning i woke up went outside and the battery still had a full charge, so i plugged the oil unit back in, just now 2:30pm i went out and the battery is dead. Guess thats what i get for going cheap. Its back on the charger i think i may do the same and leave it unplugged and from time to time plug it in to check my pressure. OH BOY! You ppl got not clue how happy i am, in the last 5 months ive driven this thing twice. Maybe this would also explain my hesitation also if it shorting out was messing with the fuel pump.ronaconda wrote:Something i had happen to me when i changed the oil pressure sending unit on mine was that it was shorted and would keep the fuel pump running...which would def kill a battery in a couple of hours - solved my problem by unplugging the sending unit. I wonder too if this was your prob as well.
As for the stumble and die, sounds to me like it isn't getting enough fuel. So yeah, this is probably messing with fuel delivery.

OK you're a hero too, happy? Lol. Well i disconnected it..it ran good, but you give it a load and its fails..i got it to stay running long enough to make it back up the drivewat with it barely even running lol. So do you think that damn oil unit keeping my fuel running, fried the pump or something? I'd like to try more sh!t, i love my lil turdetta too much. I just have very little patience for issues one after another lol.DTMAce wrote:How is he the hero, I was the one to suggest the course to find the problem.. LOLunsmart1 wrote:ron, youre a hero lol. If you junk it they arent going to give you more just cuz it has gtz rims on it.... I was just trying to give you more incentive to sell it to me rather than junk it. Im looking for a base or close to it to do a 3400 swap.

Re: weird haze on inside of windshield? AND....!!!!
I know this, i wasnt actually planning on junking it, too much into it, too much sentimental value to me anyways. First car i actually put time into unlike all the others. I've got a very short fuse and blow up easy, i say im done, it usually means get me the hell away from it before i got chuck norris on it lol. BTW NICE gtz man. Have fun finding a decent beretta around here they're either junk or outragous on price. Check nearby craigslists, i found somewhere a garnet 88 base or a gt for 300 needs a motor anyways i think. I was gonna buy it but ive already got one PITA why get another.
Idk i just want to get its issue fixed. Itll run fine idle nice and smooth, put it in any gear itll do alright then you touch the gas pedal and its stumbles and dies. I took the coils and ignition mod in to get tested the other day and the idiot at the counter jammed a paper clip in the terminals of one of my coil packs and just ripped it right out of the coil..maybe that messed something up idk.

Re: weird haze on inside of windshield? AND....!!!!
Sounds like this idiot owes you a coil especially if it was running fine before the test. A bad coil can give you the symptom you speak of - running fine at idle and then not under load. Keep in mind that one coil runs two cylinders so it will kill the engine (two dead cylinders) rather than just create a miss. If you know how (its super easy if you don't), ohm test the coils yourself.unsmart1 wrote:...I took the coils and ignition mod in to get tested the other day and the idiot at the counter jammed a paper clip in the terminals of one of my coil packs and just ripped it right out of the coil..maybe that messed something up idk.

Re: weird haze on inside of windshield? AND....!!!!
He jammed it in there, then it wouldnt come out til her take a pair of needle nose and twists the paper clip around them and yanks it out on both terminals of a coil..looks like i wont be talkin to him anymore when i go there, theres usually a guy there that knows about 60*V6s and he always give me a discount but he was busy at the time and i didnt feel like walking around the store carrying a ign mod and 3 coils lol. I knew how it ran trying to get it up the driveway felt familiar lol i dont exactly sit down and think before i ask. I will change the one tomorrow. I know how to test them but my ohm meter got in an accident with the side of my truckronaconda wrote:Sounds like this idiot owes you a coil especially if it was running fine before the test. I knew it looked familiar, LOL no you dont, i looked good last year but now it just looks like ass. lol. If you see the fender in my sig, damn near the whole car looks like that, this coming summer if its running i gotta paint gun and can of flat black i was gonna sand it down and go over it and make it all uniform instead of blotchy and ugly. Search my name on here you should find my post on when i swapped the motor, there should be pics of it there.

oh thats right lol..its on the now unmentionable old site. "bstuff" ill get pics when this thing leaves the driveway and can get cleaned up, right now its just too pathetic looking to snap a few being all filthy, broken down and under a car cover haha.
Has anyone heard of MAXX Performance E-PX coils? If so are they any good? I found 3 at the junkyard in a wrecked olds cutlass. Which looks to have a oddly CLEAN motor.
