cluster stopped working?

Post by ShaneLT(ShaneZ26) »

Has anyone had this problem before? Cluster, heater fan motor, rear defogger all stopped working and the fuse blew. I think its fuse 9. Any thoughts? I disconnected the fan motor still same problem. I dunno.

Help please!!

Um, pull the fuse and check/replace it.
Mostly you meet friends when traveling by accident, like by sitting next to them on the train, or in a restaurant, or in a holding cell.

check everything related for frayed wires or bad connections. my turn signals were popping fuses like crazy but all my lights were working. did some digging and one of the tail light bulbs was disconnected from the threaded seat, basically the glass had pulled away from the metal. the bulb was functional but shorting out.

maybe pull the cluster and check all the connections? disconnect the rear defroster?

maybe check the bulbs in the cluster? when exactly does it blow? does any one particular element kill it, i.e. everythings cool until you turn on the rear defroster?
