91+ interior swap

Post by Carson21R »

Can I swap my 89 interior for a FULL 91+ int? door panels, dash, seats, plastics everything? The yards around here dont carry old berettas anymore. they just recently set a 92 i believe beretta gt with a grey interior. Is there a DIY for removing the dash like the one on berettaspeed? also, was there a year 91+ that didnt have abs or srs? not sure but i cant remember. these hondas got my mind messed up. haha.

also, would i have to switch to a newer dash harness? will it work with my 90 gt engine harness? pretty sure it will but i wanna make sure.

yes everything will swap over. you dont need the harness unless you have digital gauges. i managed to get my digital gauges to work until im able to get ahold of the analog harness. other than that, ive never seen anyone figure out the wiring to swap the digitals to analog. so you will need an analog harness to hook up the 91+ gauges. you will have to do some wire splicing work too. i was lucky and had a parts car at one point with all the interior in good shape. i swapped it all into my 90 indy.

I've done the spliced wires swap, and can't recommend it. Get the full harness from donor car for best results.

so what your saying is that if have a pre 91 i can swap the 91+ harness into it without splicing? i was looking to do this but was unsure if everything would connect correctly.
