Earlier quads don't have that.Money pit Beretta wrote:I think I can add something to this. The leak around the water block or whatever it is called on the engine that goes to the heater core. The O-ring goes bad. That's what's going on with my GF's 2.4 Quad. It's on the driver's side just under and between the cams.
'94 Quad 4 H.O. 5 speed Z26, Red & Rare! 1 of 896 Quad Z26's and of those it's 1 of 167 red paint/gray interior!

Re: What should i know about a 1990 GTZ
Instead of making 100 new topics im just going to post here..
I found a 94 quad z26 at the wreckers and im going to strip parts soon as i can, what kind of things are different on it then a 96 z26 or others.. is the only difference the engine ? the suspension looks the same to me but i only had a quick look at it.
If there is any interest in some larger parts, if i can make it to bfest this year my dad is driving his motor home down and bringing his trailer i figured i would load it up with parts, doors / hoods / bumpers / trunk lid / dash ect.
I still needs to get my passport so i guess i should get on that asap lol..

What a shame to see it in this condition
I'm not sure as to many differences other then engine and trans. Definitely get as many parts as you can.

went and got some parts from the pictured car above today..DUBS28 wrote:What a shame to see it in this condition

Driver side strut assembly with wheel bearing and brakes ect.. complete thing. and axle.
door sill covers.
side skirt brackets.. I lost a few of these on my trip out, explain at the end of this lol..
tail lights both sides
lower filler panel
engine cover Quad 4 HO
shifter plate 5 speed..
cup holder/vent
heater control complete unit
door handles both sides
door moldings for Z kit.
solid front grill
rear spoiler with 3rd brake light.. only grabbed it hoping the bulbs are good in it because its cheaper to get the whole thing then spend $30 bucks on the bulbs.
im sure there is a few other things i got..
Plus for a grand prix.. sway bar and heater blower.
I was pulling a wagon full of parts across the yard, seen some ice so was going slow and i seemed to have found a big ass rut in the middle of the yard, i broke through the ice to find a 2 foot hole maybe 4 feet long probably made by the loader or something in the mud. so the wagon fell over and my tail lights were swimming, the skit brackets were MIA i had thought i lost the door handles and cup holder and all the small parts, after digging around in the water soaked up to my knees and froze my arm off, my dad says oh i dont think i grabbed those parts, so i found them still sitting on the car beside the beretta.. but i didnt find the small pieces for the side skirts only the long pieces for the rocker panel and the doors. My hands were still red 2 hours later man that water was COLD. lol
I made a point it was my bday as well and asked if i got a free part hahaha.
I ended up paying $40.00 for everything.. the grand prix parts are for my friends buddys car that im working on so ill get $25 bucks for those 2 things. all the other parts cost me $15 bucks.
Shhh.. dont tell anyone because if i want to sell a part on here people will want it for 50 cents because they know what i paid for them LOL.........
I love that place just for that reason.. its cheap.. but not too often is there a beretta.. i have seen 2 berettas in 2 years there, when i do find them i strip everything i can. hense the reason my basement is half full of parts.
The hood is in nice shape too and the trunk lid. the doors are rust free too but cant fit those parts into my beretta to bring home, have to make another trip and get some more things.
