3800 Series III Turbo...
I don't think you can know until you try it. i doubt it will cause problems because your AR on the turbine is pretty large. (can't remember exactly)

3800 Series III Turbo...
Actually i did read all 20 pages I probably missed it while SKIMMING through it.
I guarantee you, if you Jet-hot your manifolds and exhaust turbine housing (outside only) your scavanging effects will increase and your underhood temperatures will drastically drop.
On a V8 at idle they saw temps of 500+ degress at idle. After coating the same headers they saw Temperatures of only 200°. I'd look into it if i were you, both of my headers are costing me only $195 to get done so it's not expensive. They guarantee it for life man.
But thats only because i've seen this stuff and it's pretty amazing.
Anyway, you're doing a great job, i'm not questioning anything else. I can't wait to see what it does!

LOL!! you must be the PR guy for jethot ÂÂÂ
Seriously ceramic coats will not last a couple of passes road racing...especially not at the higher temps the turbine sections see...now if you are reading literature I OVERstand...however I am talking first hand experience...for the price of ceramic coating that will fail...I can use that money to get something of more importance. I have taken (hopefullY) enough steps to help in heat management, it is now what happens when the thing fires...?

BTW...Turbocharged engines don't see enough scavenging effect for it to matter... if you can carry your 'own atmosphere' then the effect of scavenging is minimal the place where it matters is occupied with building pressure...
Again thanks mucho for the kind words...

Actually i'm not, i'm just someone who's seen their "product" if you will and i believe in it.
They last far longer then a "few passes" Jet-hot's coatings surpass any ceramic coating you can get.
And i doubt very much you'll have temp's above 2400°F. But i understand your opinion as well, Just looking to help thats all.

EJET-HOT 2000™ - Formulated for very high temperatures, this rugged coating protects substrates up to 2,450°F, heat levels sometimes encountered in Rodding and Off-Road applications. Available in black, blue or grey.
Either way i don't take it personal because like i said i'm just someone randomly looking to help. I can't wait to see how my headers feel after a few runs. But anyway regardless i was just throwing an opinion out there as well as trying to help. I always look for ways to help anyone. Ask Berettaspeed, MidnightRiderZ24 of V6z24.com, V6HO of Domesticcrew.com, TurboZ24 (Curtis i dont' think i need to reference him to any websites other then TurboZ24.com) and even Six_shooter of Domesticcrew.com.
IN NO WAY do i work for them. Although i bet they'd pay well LOL.
Like i said, i'm going to be watching this topic regardless of what you do... it's your car, you do what you want. Same goes for my car. The appropriate phrase for our conversation would be ... I have an opinion, and you know what they say about opinion's? They're like Assholes, everybody has one

Well unfortunately I am using 304 mild steel...thermal expansion on this things are more than stupendous...ASSuming I got a ceramic coat and any part of the manifold or "Y" cracks I will be ...ish outtaluck $1XX.xx...
It will be nice to use it on both the inner and outter walls though
