just got the code a few days ago, and my cruise hasnt been working, i checked the vaccum lines and even changed the servo, could the sensor not engage the cruise to work properly?

Map sensor helps adjust air fuel ratio. It operates reading manifold vacuum. Your cruise uses vacuum to move the actuator on the throttle so, I conclude you have a vacuum leak or a pinched vacuum line. See if you have vacuum at both.
