Mostly you meet friends when traveling by accident, like by sitting next to them on the train, or in a restaurant, or in a holding cell.

Also if you didnt know......when you unlock the car with the key you can double tap and hold the final tap to roll the windows down. It works to roll them up as well.

Lol, that reminds me of the other day I was rollin' with my 15 year old daughter in the '88 GT and while cranking the window up being way over dramatic she says,"OMG, this is so much work!"

I remember the days of driving the Beretta and having to lean over to quickly roll up my passenger window when it started raining. Never was easy.
I haven't even been driving this Mustang yet. Guy I got it from had a lien on it still and Ford credit took 2 weeks to mail the title out so I can get plates for it. So I'm going to go play with the power windows and sit in it in my driveway. lol.

Not sure I'm understanding what you mean exactly. Do you mean tapping the window switch inside the car? I know the car has the auto down/up windows but I haven't found a way to do it other than using the switches.

What she means is using the key on the outside and "double tap" (hold on the final tap) the key and the windows will automatically roll down.

Funny thing is I had a Saturn before this. It's an old crappy 1995 but it does get fantastic gas mileage. Not sure of the MPGs but a full tank easily lasts 2 weeks. And it only holds like 11 gallons. I'm gonna miss that little old beater.
You make me miss my old 97 SL1, i got 44MPG on highway trips, averaged about 38 on a normal week. Sadly i abused her, allot, she was my first car and well :burn: thats what happens usually.

That's what I thought but it didn't work. After investigating further it looks like not all Mustangs have this feature. Oh well.

I love the newer stangs. If I bought a new car thats probably the only one I would consider.
How is the V6? Respectable?

V6 is very respectable. I really don't see needing much more power for street driving. After reading through Mustang forums people say these cars come alive with an after market tune. 210HP stock. From what I've been reading, an intake and tune will add 15 HP.
The engines are the Explorer engines so reliability is great too.
Also, the insurance quotes for a V6 were almost half of what a V8 would have been for me.
When i was looking at buying a used car I often went to Edmunds.com and read reviews from owners. The 05-09 Mustang was one of the few cars where almost every single review was good.
