I want my Beretta back

Post by Autocross72 »

We solmylar 95 a few years ago because we thought we needed a bigger car when we had our daughter. It was quite distinctive. It was green/grey. Originally it was a base model, but I put the Z26 ground effects on it, and put Z34 hood vents in. I put in a Grand Am rear axle with a 22mm internal bar and made my own brackets to install a 1" external bar. I also swapped the front sway bar out for a 30 mm one. It was lowered with Eibach ProKit springs, had KYB front struts and coil helper springs that fit over the rear shocks. I put a huge tranny cooler behind the egg crate gril. Now we wish we had never sold it! Does anyone know how to track down a car?

Thanks for any help you can give me,
Pete Sprenger

P.s. Let this be a lesson to you. Just spend the money you would for a new car to rebuild the one you have!!!

Holy crap! I remember your car well Pete, it was one of the cars that gave me inspiration way back in the day.

I haven't seen your car floating around here or seen it posted by anyone, but that doesn't mean it isn't around anymore.

Do you have the VIN from it still? You could run a Carfax on it and at least that would give you an idea on when the last time it was registered.

well, a location would be a good start, i know of a rasberry base that had a 3400 in it with eibach springs and z26 gfx and seats near me went to the junkyard...

and it was painted a greenish grey color iirc.

IIRC Pete was/is from around Washington.

His car started out the greenish grey color too, so that car isn't it.

I thought he was in the Denverish/Colorado area.

Pete, crazy to see you back. Not that I have a lead, but a friend of mine and I have been working on his 94 Base - Dark Grey Green Metallic color and in the modding process we've mentioned your car quite a bit in the last couple of months.

This is most crazy indeed!

I have done that a couple times now.. sold a car and wish I wouldn't have. If I had the chance I would buy back the teal Indy I had in '06.

Good luck in your search!
