Back in the day my 89 base would leak on the passenger side. The floorboard would always be wet after thunderstorms. I put the hose on the wire harness that is just behind the right strut tower on the firewall corner. Sure enough water was dripping through that wire harness. Went to Lowe's and bought flexible spray sealer (rubber) by Home Armour. Leaks stopped. My GTZ has no leaks but sprayed those wire harnesses just in case. It took about 48hrs to completely cure because of the heavy coating I put on it.

alright i will try that. i was going to put the firewall cover on my car from the base/gt. i just have to move some stuff out of the way then when i hope everything is fixed i may have to take the hose or power sprayer to the car to see if the leaks are gone dont want another surprise like i had the otherday when i went to put my rearview mirror up. at least i know it will never get as bad as it was before. and styluss friday if we get them i will pm you.
