New Guy From Labrador
Hello Everyone!
My name is Randy, I'm 27,from Goose Bay, Labrador, Canada.
I just purchased a 95 Corsica to become my new Daily Driver and joined up to read, lurk and learn as much as I can about the chassis and it's weaknesses and upgrades.
My original DD was an 83 GMC k5 Jimmy w/6.2 Diesel-700R4 transmission. It got 17-25MPG but I lifted it, added 35's, added more power and broke stuff. So now i'm building a monster TH350 transmission and contemplating an engine rebuild before I start turbo-ing the naturally aspirated 6.2 and make some real power out of it.
Anyway, My plan for the car is to have a reliable, relatively efficient, solid Daily Driver. I'm gonna replace what needs replacing and then I'm gonna look into full front and rear strut braces, plus a trailer hitch. I did this to my Honda Civic back a few years ago and it made a world of difference to the stiffness of the car...then maybe some of those Rally springs and Bilstein dampers to get the cars chassis, and suspension, nice and strong.

I love Nova Scotia, I lived in the HRM for a little while a few years back. I definitely would love to go back again soon.themixer wrote:I am from Truro Nova Scotia! Welcome to the forums
