Custom Painted 96 Z26

I really like the 2 tone blue/silver paint combo, and it makes the blue interior look good. Overall it looks to be in nice shape.

That listing is completely screwed up.

And maybe it's just me, but the pictures of the interior show both blue and grey interiors. Something is afoot...

It's just bad camera shots, the color is messed up in a few because I'm guessing they used a cell phone or something equally shitty.

I don't really see anything wrong with the listing, other that the fact the VIN is incorrect. Also the fact that in state buyers can't buy it. I guess that is because the car is not inspected in the state of MD or something. Oh and also the fact that they list it as a 4cyl, which it clearly is not. The interior is blue, it's just in poorly lit photos it looks to be grey. It's in nice shape too, the passenger side door panel is perfect, the dash looks good, and so do all the seats.
Still, nice looking car, and a good swap candidate, as long as it's not rusted underneath.

he's a dealer, and screwed up the listing... pretty pathetic. 'tranny slips under hard acceleration', at least he points something bad out...

Obviously it was originally a white Z. Weird how the inner wheel well is in the trunk, you would think a dealer would fix the small stuff like that so it would sell better.

Holy crap. You have to pay a 200 dollar documentation fee on top of the sale price! Good lord.

I would highly recommend avoiding, just because it sounds fishy.. 500 dollar credit card only deposit???

The VIN is wrong as well. Intentional?

Screw the eBay listing. If anybody is interested in this, I say just call the dealer, get the information you want/need, such as the VIN #, and see if they will correct their eBay ad and put the correct VIN in, this way you can get the history report on it. Or just ask them for it, or a car fax on it, and if they don't give it to you, just get it yourself if you really want it. Then just offer more than the current bid on eBay, and set up a time and date to pick it up. Boom, normal transaction from dealer to driver, without all this stupid eBay junk and bidder fees. Just my opinion.
I put it up here because it's a nice looking car, and it could be something. Looks like a good start for a swap, or just address the trans issue, and drive it like it is. Should be able to get a good deal on it. I don't think they'd get anything more than maybe $1500 for it.
