Well, that was you. I'm not buying it. I'm not taking on this guys mess, unless he drops the car to $300 that is. At $500 it's not worth it to me to try to part her out. And there is no way I am taking on someone else's Quad rebuild. NO WAY.

Well then, if you're not going to get parts off of this car for other people as originally stated, then I guess this thread can be locked.

It's got flat tires, send it to the crusher! :bad:

Maybe meet the guy in the middle and offer him 400?.. from your posts I take it that he will sell it for 500 and you don't want to pay more than 3. that would be more than fair considering how rare the car is and how much you would make parting it out.

i cant see how its not "worth" it, someone on q4 forums would love to buy some quad parts, intake, exhaust mani, idi cover, head, cams, and the block itself, the trans if a 3.94fdr is worth a nice penny, shift cables if factory are worth a pretty penny, axles, ecm, cluster.... and thats just stuff i know for sure you could sell, that still leaves you with the entire car...

Parting out a white GTZ in Colorado

Geez guys!! It's probably just not worth his time since he can't even tow the thing home in it's current condition! If it's such a good deal and worth so much then maybe you all need to head to CO and pick it up!

EXACTLY! Stop crawling down my throat because I chose not to buy a car!

Ron, the Quad was supposedly rebuilt. Then one day, two years ago, the car wouldn't start so they just gave up and let it sit. There is fish tank equipment in the back seat. The "chrome" wheels are 14" trash and one of them is missing. 4 flat tires and a shady history = not for me.

And as for parting it out to make money, you all know damn good and well that 7 people say "I want this part and that part" and then when the time comes to buy those parts, crickets... I'm not shipping bumpers, I'm not tearing a car down further than what will allow me to still drive it to the junkyard to be crushed. I'm not taking this on to make one or two hundred bucks. I have much bigger fish to fry this summer.

SCD88GA, No need to lock the thread. The seller said he would part it out. Making this a valid thread. You don't need me to play middle man for you.

His contact info is in the Craig's List ad, call him and YOU buy it.
