cutting out every now and then

i am having an ongoing problem with my 95 z26.  every now and then it will just start cutting out and wont be able to get the revs over 1500-2000.  i will go down the highway about a mile then it will stop.  it only does it after it is good and warm and has run for at least 10 minutes.  another time when it doesnt fail to do it is everytime it gets nice and warm then i shut it off and go into the bank or something for a few minutes then i come back out and it will miss and not rev untill i drive it a little bit and it will come out of it.  but if i shut it off and leave it cool down all the way it will start up and run fine.

try some dielectric grease between module and base (it might help) or not but since you have it off test it.

any engine codes?  if so, could be dirty ground of the ignition module.

Check your throttle body for full movement, also build up on the walls.  When you start your car cold can you rev up to 1500-2000 RPM.  If so then check the connection from your foot pedal to your throttle.  Also on the highway Are you using cruise control?
