Those are some of my favorite 16" OEM aluminum wheels, They only look good on the narrower front of the 88-98 trucks (GMT-400).

I have the smooth centercap version though, which I like a liiiiitttttllle better :P

Mine had those wheels when I bought it, too. Second thing I ditched after the chrome grille!

nice k5 man, I got a 78 k10 sport myself I'm about do a total resto on it she needs it got a 350 with a sm465 4 speed with 208 transfer, and running a 10.5 14 bolt full floater cause I got such of destroying pos 1/2 12 bolts lol when your rear goes out go with a full floater trust me you'll never go back but when you do you'll have to get 3/4/1-ton u bolts and plates for the big 10.5 cause the axles are massive, and you'll have to get a cross u-joint to go from half ton to 3/4 ton, but anyway I'm about to buy an old body style chevy crew cab it's what my dream truck is, I'm gonna put a cross over steering kit in it and 12" lift and probably 44s and on top of that a 12 valve cummins with an nv4500 swap I can't wait to do it I got big plans for her

Oh I have destroyed a 10.5" 14B full floater before LOL

I just don't see the necessity right now, when my axles have held up fine, have fresh bearings, u-joints and running synthetic front and rear.

When they do let go, they will be replaced by 1-tons. It's just that the 10B's are doing great considering.

Post up some pics of your K10. I love the 73-80 front end.

Mine was a combination of a hard life, constantly working and a leaky wheel seal. It was a disc brake 14BFF from my '02 2500HD Silverado.

It started with a whine, then the G80 spiders cracked, locked up the diff, but kept on driving. It didn't need to blow up, but It would keep on driving, even though it had some irreparable damage that required replacement.

Eventually it was asked of too much and blew apart :(

That '95 is pretty clean. I'm not a fan of the bug guard though, I've never liked them. The wheels look alot better than the others considering the shape they were in lol.

Bug guards serve a purpose, so i cant hate on them. Some people almost get offended by the sight of them lol

Started doing some small work with the truck again, so expect some pics in the next couple of days.

mine is a little rusty along the bottom edge, i just spray bombed it to keep it from getting worse. previous owner let it sit in his driveway about 10 years and only drove it when snow was on the ground and never washed it. i'm not a fan of the bugshield either but the bf had to have it, vent visors are ordered too. lol

Mine has a few small surface rust spots and a few pinholes rotted through on the floorpan near the doors. That is all, but we use sand on the roads other than salt.

I plan on getting them patched up, primed and then bedlined underneath.
