Don't work off of pics, that will be your biggest mistake... Get the car and fabricate a mount with the motor sitting in the bay that's the right way to do it.

Yes but remember he can't get a Chevy engine to run after doing a swap, so he's trying a honda this time.

It's not simply ignorant, it's personal preference really... And what else would you expect from a Beretta forum for a response? The guy who put a Buick GN engine in a 05 Subaru Legacy got the same crap when he posted his topic on the Legacy forums.

Depending on the year he would be starting with one of these...

Those mount like a 92+ beretta iirc, on the fender well. Gonna need more than a bracket for that one I would think.

Kind of a lot of work to shave a few pounds and gain a few hp...

This is an interesting swap, to say the least.

I'm a fan of Honda's engines, they've made some stupid decisions (Ridgeline) but they certainly know how to make pissed off, high output 4 and 6-cylinders. Like the B18C5, which was the cream of the crop before the K-series came out.

I gotta respect GM for making something like the Quad-4 though, I've got way more respect for them than I did before, because I've always been in the base model low output versions and heard lots of complaints about headgaskets, but that's easily solved.

The K-series has a great aftermarket, which the Q4 doesn't unfortunately.
