90 for a cracked head? There is a beretta with a trunk full of cracked quad heads at the junkyard.

I'll explain this only because I want to.

The yards here want 140.00 for any bare 4 cylinder head no matter the condition. Or you can go to the local pull your own parts and do it for 110.00 for a bare head (no valves or springs). Those heads you will find it will not be ported and will be very dirty. These heads are pretty clean and the 086 head is ported.

Just so you know, the ONLY difference between an LO quad 4 short block and an HO (LG0, W40, W41) short block are the pistons... Even one from an SOHC engine will work for you!
