3400 5speed swap

Ok I have a 96 z26 I'm doing a 3400 5 speed swap, where to start.lol ok my buddy did the same swap an it ran like poop. Since its obdii the stock computer went in like limp mode, an had like a 100 codes. It had a lot of codes thrown for the tranny. An I'm trying to see if I get a ecm if someone code help me tune it so it would run right. Srry if this is a jabber I'm on a phone an on break lol. Thanks for any help

I'm sure someone can help. Hell I could probably even help. I have a DHP, and my car is OBDII. No issues with my swap...
