A dented rusty base with junk interior? Why post this?

Because it's a manual. That's the only reason I posted it...

Yeah a 2.2 manual... its nothing special. They needed that to even get moving since the engine was so powerless.

I would like to find a decent 2.2 5 speed for a backup car. This is the second one that's in my price range that had popped up in Wisconsin lol

Doesn't look that bad, quit ripping on the car. A little rust, a few dings, and in need of exhuast work isn't junk. Come look at the two piles of **** I have and THEN you will know what JUNK is. And you are not getting those parts you spoke of and you can all delete me for all I care.

I do like buying junk... and this car is not junk. It may be a bit overpriced for what it is, but this car probably has years of life left. I can't believe that no one sees the potential.

Ok then, it's a gigantic piece if worn out piece of fucking trash with it's only potential being melted down and made into something useful! I'm sorry you drive/own junk, but I guess that's your own choice. So you can just keep your junk, and good luck with the part out, lol!

Don't look that bad for $850. Definantly not nice, but doesn't look that bad.

Serious question, are the 2.2's that bad?

I really like how you never wrote texted called or pm'd me. Guess you didn't want those covers after all. And remember I told you I bought a nice car, which is not junk. And the other two cars I have were not junk when I bought them, but they rusted out over the 6 and 7 years that they have been around. Together those two accumulated 130,000+ miles. I'm also glad that you are a confident social and secure person. I on the other hand am shy and not social and can get insecure depending on the situation. I actually hate who I am sometimes, but that is life. Please do not bitch about junky cars. Maybe one day you won't be so fortunate and I can pick on you for posting such junk on this site. SO what if every other member here has such beautiful nice show cars. A car is a car, and if one likes it, good for them. But yes there comes a point, but that Beretta is not that bad. Maybe someone should check out the rockers and subframe, then make a statement. Too bad that white Hatchback isn't up on the MSP CL. That was hilarious (but sad) to see. THAT one you could bitch at me for, but I chose not to post it. But really, 5 speeds are kind of rare in the grand shceme of the L-cars, THAT is the ONLY reason I posted it. The other one that was up that the other member spoke of is actually a NICE one. You should check it out. Its on the Milwaukee one I believe. Also red in color.

I was thinking MAYBE one day coming to BFest, but I thnk I won't. I probably wouln't anyways, but then you basically put me down for posting this, so I will NEVER come to a BFest if someone paid me. Yes I think it would be so cool to take my Beretta and cruise on over to a meet in a mini convoy, but it isn't worth my time for the person that I am.

I'm sorry, but you turned expressing my opinion about a car into a personal attack on you as a person. I feel bad that you saw it that way. I've personally turned WAY worse vehicles than this Beretta into WAY better final results! I of all people definitely know the potential in cars when I see them, because I know what it takes to turn them around! It's more about what you end up with when complete as compared to what you had to start with. Fixed up / restored / whatever, this car would still be a dime a dozen 4 banger base! If you look around, you can find a car like this in WAY better condition than this for a similar price! I'd rather start with a clean solid nice interior car with a blown engine in comparison! It's all about availability of parts, time, and cost when it comes to these cars! It's better to start with the parts you can't get anymore in good condition!

I bought my Quad Z26 2.5 years ago for $400 in VERY rough condition inside and out and under the hood, but it had what I needed to see it's potential. I used a combination or my experience, skill, connections and a large amount of timely good luck to get the car where it is today! It's not a 2 time trophy winner at car shows, and will hold it's own at a drag strip taking down V8 Camaro's and Mustangs and it does well on the auto-x course too. It's also my year-round daily driver! My 65 Chevy C20 show truck was a $250 purchase! Started life as a company truck for M&M Concrete in Marinette, WI after being retired, it became a farm truck! So you can only imagine the life it led!

I just don't see the potential in this car you posted as anything but scrap. It's too rough in my opinion to be a nice DD, not a good demo car, and not a good oval track or any other type of race car. Just my opinion.

Yes, any Beretta shell can be made into a clown of any other Beretta model, but there is way better out there if that was the inherent goal. Just saying... ;)

He has only been to the Chicago Bfest... So if your thinking everyone is like him then well that's unfortunate because now your isolating yourself from people who have the same interest in cars as you do.

And I'm locking this thread because honestly SCD the way you've responded is somewhat pathetic... You should have just left it alone after your first comment.
