No A/C
No A/C
So my A/C went out Friday I did some investigating and the fuses inside the car for the A/C are good. Ater that I saw that the clutch was not engaging so I put direct current to the compressor and it does turn on and it does blow cold air. What other parts can cause the clutch not to engage? I also found no leaks.

Check the pressure, you could be too low and the pressure switch is disengaged. Or the pressure switch is bad.

Not sure on a R12 system... Mine is right out front with three wires on it. It's the line coming right off the condenser on the right front corner of the car.

Thanks 3X00-Modified I found the pressure switch. My GTU has two of them. Online people talk about a relay for the beretta that also go bad. Where would that relay be located?

not sure... there is a relay grouping on the firewall but I'm not sure which one it is. I'd check a haynes book first though and see if it marks it.
