questions on my 94
Alright so i recently bought a '94 for a cheap work car so i dont gotta drive the gas hog ramcharger. 120k. V6. 3rd owner..yeah anyways.
Even tho the interior in this is nice beyond belief, Ive got a spare set of gray Z seats and was wondering, Can i dye them from gray to the medium blue?
And also where can i get a dash cover?
And also, its drive great down the highway, but when i left off the gas to take my exit..the engine light pops on and stays on til restart. It wont come on if im driving in town unless id been on the highway, what the..? P.O said before i bought it the egr valve get plugged up but if i clean it, it usually turns the light off for a month. And when it runs the exhaust smells sulfurish.
Its just a rusty $300 work car but still i gotta make an effort to keep it in shape while its still alive.
And i still have the '88 i was having so much trouble with, put new fuel pump in..it runs...now it wont run on all 6? So its back to sitting on blocks in the backyard under a tree collecting squirrel and bird poop, and sap again. Screw that pos lol.

'86 Dodge Ramcharger 2wd- 360, "X" heads, bored .020 over, decked .010, 833 4spd, 3:55 gear.
'88 base/z-z51 supension, '93 olds 3.1, more stuff than its worth.

Anytime you dye seats they wont last that long... and there are dash covers on e-bay IIRC, or ask Heavywoody since he got a decent one from somewhere.
You have the typical bad EGR code as well, 55mph deceleration its picking up either a failed unit or clogged passages.

Alright i guess ill just leave the seats alone and invest in some seat covers. And ill change the egr out too. Pretty sure ive got one laying around somewhere. Only money ive put into this car is a junkyard radiator. I guess i shoulda mentioned to that this is a Corsica haha. ONLY reason i bought it is mechanically wise its just like a beretta so if it breaks ive got parts already on hand...my budget car.
