Its not that bad man, if it was i would have junked it before i put what i put into it. Paintjob and new moldings which i have and new rims and the car will look like new again.

I hate to say it, but I sold my Base for $700 and it cosmetically looked a lot better. If I was going to buy that, I'd offer about $1,000. Believe me when I say it, there is a lot of rust that is hidden. For the price your asking, one could get a rust free GTU from the south

Again, does a southern gtu have all brand new parts like mine does? My exhaust and body kit is worth almost $1000 by itself

Your asking price is too high and people don't want to low ball you I'm sure, it will not move on a forum of enthusiasts at that price in it's condition. I'm not saying you can't sell it to someone at that price but I highly doubt anyone would pay that for a car that has rocker rot and needs paint badly, as well as near 300k on the engine. My pink car was 1k with a leaking radiator and 74k miles on it. All I did was change the drivers seat cover and it won best stock interior for it's class the following year. It also needed paint.
sorry just being honest.

i think someone would do maybe $500-600 on here for it.
Re: Black GTU-275K miles-$2800-zip 18360 Mechanically Restor
Sounds like i completely effed up and sunk a boat load of $ into a deadpit.. $500 is just crazy low, honestly the lowest id do is $2000... imo the car needs a paint job and new wheels and would look set but thats just me.. the door jamb rust is it.. i replaces bothside rockers both inner and outter.

Dude, Craig's List. Done. Hell throw a coat of paint on there the poor man's way and it will sell like hotcakes. Again, that car is not going to sell here and I think that has been made painfully clear. You are trying to sell a "mechanically restored" car to a group of people who would rather buy a heap and "mechanically restore" it themselves. You have to remember that no matter how many new parts you put on a car nor how much they cost, you will only see a very small fraction of that returned to you when it comes time to sell. I think you are focusing too much on the "new" parts the car has and not the fact that it looks very poor. CL people see a car that looks very poor and move on to the next one. I say put it on CL for $2500 and expect to get $2000 for it.
