Throttle Body Interchange

Does anyone know what the interchanges are on these I need to know what years and models, on my 1990 GTZ someone put a low output quad in my car and when my throttle cable is hooked up well the throttle cable is all the way out and the throttle valve is a quarter to half way open and I know that's not correct so something is goofy and wasn't changed in my car when the idiots that had the car put the motor in

All the quad 4 throttle bodies are the same size but there are a few variations. The clocking position of the TPS and IACV is different in various years, two styles of TPS's were used, two styles that had coolant lines that connected to them, and a few different style linkages where your cables hook up dependent on things like cruise/ no cruise, kickdown cable, etc. There were different length throttle cable and cruise cables along with brackets for where they mount by the throttle body. If you aren't using the coolant line for the TB, then I can get you the proper TB for your car I believe.

If you could remove the one you currently have and post pics, that would be helpful too, but i already have a good idea why the one you have won't work.

I'll try to get some pics my car is a cruise control 5 speed car and wouldn't I get better performance eliminating the coolant lines I mean who likes a hot throttle body right?

It's for Winter starts and GM did away with it because it was a stupid idea that failed often! LOL I think I can get you one with the proper linkage, but I'll have to go look.
