Should be pretty rare, but IIRC that means it was a rental car (I do believe that is the way the 87's were released, as rentals only to iron out problems and see what the public thought of them) Assuming you already know this, but that doesn't make it worth more money.

I also recall some saying the 87's and 88's can be problematic. Any clue as to what options it has? (V6, I4, auto or manual?)

Chevy Chronicle and the Standard Catalog both say between 8 and 10 thousand for each Corsica and Beretta for 1987. I'd have to look when I get home Monday for exact numbers.

I would let it die. Is it rare? Sure, in the sense that they didn't make many of them but is it worth anything? No. Plus, as mentioned, there are a ton of little differences between the '87s and '88s that can be problematic. However if it is a "CL" trim model it may be fun to pick up. Hell, you can never go wrong with a $400 car is the bottom line me thinks.

If it's in nice shape as you said in the first post, jump on it.

If anything it would be cool (until you need to replace something) to see what the little differences are.

And as Styluss said, it's only $400!
