New ride. Rare W body goodness.
New ride. Rare W body goodness.
I was on my way home from work when I saw a red coupe sitting next to a shed in a farmers side yard. I stopped and asked about it and it turned out that it was a Grand Prix Turbo! I asked some questions about it and it used to be his daughters car, she stopped driving it because it was crazy to drive in the snow (must have been the turbo) and it would stall sometimes when she stopped at stop signs. It is Red with a Camel leather interior. It has 115,XXX miles with new tires and some other stuff. I think the reason it stalls is because of a cracked crossover that is causing it to run too rich. I own it now and cant wait to start working on it. I originally wanted it for the motor and trans but the body is clean and it will only take a little work to make it drive correctly. Im not going to mention the price yet. Here are some pics.

Sweet, I like those.
God though, those seats are a hideous design IMO! The interior looks to be in great shape though, especially for that old of leather!

Those seats may look ugly but they are EXTREMELY comfy! Nice pick-up! Hit me up if you're looking for parts as I've collected 3 cars worth over the years.

Nice find! What'd you pay for it? I'm looking at buying a '00 Z24 with the gm supercharger kit with a rod knock!
Re: New ride. Rare W body goodness.
I paid $400 for it, oh and its a 1990 (just like my gf's yellow Indy)

As you can see the mufflers and exhaust piping is rusty on the surface. so is part of the rear bumper. I was digging throught the car and found a receipt for auto armor from 1990.

not bad at all... I wish more Beretta's looked like this on the underside.
Looks like most of the auto armor fell off but still made the car survive.

When I bought my 1989 base it looked like that (minus the auto armor). Last year was its first winter outside3X00-Modified wrote:not bad at all... I wish more Beretta's looked like this on the underside.
