With great sadness - I'm turning a new leaf in life and selling my 1988 GTU. I'm met many great people with this car and I want to see it go to a good home. Here are the details:

1988 Chevrolet Beretta GTU - 1 of about 3900 made, White exterior, Burgundy Interior (Paint code 8554)
VIN: 1G1LV14W7JY658767

2.8L V6 / Auto (3-speed) Original engine/transmission (shift kit installed 2002).
179,600 miles - 3rd owner, purchased in April 1995 with 72,000 miles. PA Car, owned in Syracuse, NY 1995-2004. No New York winters! (always stored) Lived in St. Louis, MO 2004-2007, no winters. 2007-now Jacksonville, Fl - obviously, no winters!

Factory Options:
Standard GT factory options plus Digital Dash and GTU Package from Cars & Concepts July 1988

Current Condition:
New Tires (225/50R16 BFGoodrich g-Force Sport) on white powder coated GTU wheels. Full size Spare GTU wheel/tire. All wheels static balanced - no weights on the outside facing rim.

New fuel pump, sock and fuel filter - 9/2012, New Battery - 8/2012.

Full suspension rebuild & upgrade at 140,000 miles (2003) including:
Eibach springs
KYB GR-2 front struts, KYB Adjust-a-shock rear shocks. New mounts, bushings and isolators
PST front control arm bushings, Front swaybar bushings and endlinks.
Prothane rear Z51 swaybar bushings and original rear Z51 swaybar
Front strut tower brace, Rear Shock tower brace

2.5" custom exhaust from exhaust manifold, 2.5" magnaflow cat, 2.5" Boral muffler and exhaust tip.

Seats from 1994-96 Z26 - Great shape. Driver's side air bladder works!
GTZ/Z26 fog lights installed but not electrically connected (needs to be finished). (parking lights work)
Map lights installed, Interior maintained well - door panels good for age, not perfect.

Stereo - Aftermarket Speakers:
4" dash, 5 1/4" kick panel & 6"x9"s. 8" Sub & Sony 5 channel amp. Pioneer DEH-P825 deck & 12 disk changer (trunk).

Tinted windows, Hood speed lifts. Half sagging headliner (passenger side - temporarily fixed with twist pins)
Typical GM primer issue - some peel, very little surface rust.

Spare parts available to buyer:
ICM, Ignition Coils, extra GTU rim, ECM, Spare GTU rear GFX and a variety of Beretta spare parts.

$2500 in Jacksonville, Florida 32226. Adult driven and maintained. Title in hand, you will need to arrange for pick up. As-Is condition - runs well for original drivetrain!

I know this is old, but if by any chance the new owner or OP sees this, how did the 225 50 16s fit on it? any rubbing issues?
