For the time being I am using Valvoline Fuel System Cleaner Plus in it. Next week I'll probably get some Seafoam and new plugs for it.

Running great, no hint what so ever of a missfire, the other two coils that were tested at autozone were bad once warmed up, so I have all of its original coils on it and it seems to be running great.

Sea foam down the booster hose, that is the best way. Your engine will be running at 3k do to the huge vacuum leak(don't freak out). Most people use a funnel, but I just let the vacuum draw out the Sea Foam in small amounts. I let the engine have 3/4 of a can and then put the rest in the tank. Smoked out a 1/4 of my street(lol).

Glad to hear that you got this fixed.

I'll do that next week, along with new plugs. Thanks again everyone for the help, very appreciated!

I cleaned the TB with it still on the car, but I think it would be better if I took it off. Do the coolant lines under the TB need to come off? It looks like it but I am not sure. I read the write up on V6Z24 and it doesn't mention taking them off. Just the vaccum lines, the bolts and the electrical plugs.

Also, I'm detailing my engine bay, and my chrome WAI is starting to look not so good, think it would be safe to use spray paint on it? I was thinking either flat or gloss black for it (the tube, not the filter obviously)

Just use some metal polish on that WAI. Or if you really want to paint it you will have to scuff it with some sand paper.
Not sure on the coolant lines, but my guess is that you will have to take them off.

Alright, I may hold off on doing the TB for a while then.

I may be wrong, but it almost looks like plasti-chrome on the WAI. I'll try polish, but I don't think it'll do much.

Damn man you got to get a Styluss intake(lol). Have you ever cleaned the EGR port? If not add that to your plans. Those things get clogged real bad. You will have to take the TB off to do it(to get all the build up out of the intake).

Just finished cleaning the EGR, TB (around the butterfly, I'll take it off and do it right before too long) and the IAC passages on the TB (and on itself) Couldn't clean the exhaust port on the EGR since the bolts seem to be seized fast, but I cleaned the TB port on it and the TB.

Maybe this weekend I'll take the TB off and do the stuff right.

The exhaust port should be fine. I didn't know you already did the EGR port on the upper. The one on my 90GT was almost blocked.

I would be interested in one of your ICM's. I have a 92 GT 3.1 I just picked up that isn't starting. Could save me a little time and money. Shoot me an email lonnie_w(at)hotmail(dot)com and we can talk turkey....seeing as how it's CDN Thanksgiving weekend
