3800 Series III Turbo...
Finally someone figured out how to mount a 3800 without destroying a radiator support.
Good work, get-r-tuned.

It's alive!
Awesome, can't wait to here more as always. Out of curiosity, since plan A is gone, what will become of the Split Second unit?

LOL...they found me indeed, they collect the rent in the castle I built in the sky
Thanks...videos later:
I will have to wait till I get a revised .bin file from DHP so I can drop the IFR (injector flow rate)...or suffer the consequences of 'fuel wash' on the cylinder walls... ...again at the mercy of another...

Not unless you can put the engine in from underneath...but too many things to make that work x2...besides we all know our radiator support 'be flimsy'
Thanks Rex, can't wait to put this thing on the pavement and pound it...

Thanks Kay, the ARC2 (www.splitsec.com) has the advantage of been very dynamic...so it actually work to change AFR in realtime. So while it may have not worked for big injectors it will still work for fine tuning, once the .bin file has been edited. This will be good especially for tuning out lag/throttle response...

Oooops...
I forgot to post pics per member request...
this is what the finished turbo intake looks like,
it has the bypass opening after the MAF, then the intake also after the MAF...different theories exist on IAT + turbos. However I believe in order to take advantage of the 'off-boost' timing table, placement of the IAT is critical. In my case, the Hitachi MAFs have a IAT embedded within the sample tube (including MAF), this inherently compares data with incoming air and tries to correlate this value with the initial IAT. To make a long story short, more timing is available when this values are within a certain parameter...
And for the other member: this is for the hood... needs some more TLC though...

Yes it is a lot of work...
This is just the way I did it. Different ways to do it...I think the second time is a charm

Can't help with the audio hosting, but thanks for the update.
Is it driveable, or you need a caselearn and a few other things before you fire it up and drive it. Then comes tuning for max boost?
Do you have a link to your old setup? I think that'd be cool to look at in the meantime (for us anyways). I remeber a thread about the brakes/coilovers but not much on the engine/after it was done.. (I left the boards for a while)...
Good luck!!

Have mercy on me
This is some ridiculous (sp) work my friend. Thanks for the pics, is this a road race car, drag car? I wouldn't even want to see this thing next to me. I would mind marrying the car either, it is quite gorgeous
btw you have mail! I wish I could hear the audio myself
