Isnt the icm what the coil packs mount to if so I changed it already I guess ill check the codes

Yes it's what the coils mount to. And not just check the codes... you need running data, such as what is the O2 sensor reading what is the ECU reporting for misfires and so on... The issue may not throw a code since it is only a 94, OBDI.5 doesn't have many codes to troubleshoot. Hell even the 96 OBDII is lacking in some area's.

did you install the coils in the correct order after you took them off?

I dont know how to do that? So you dont think timing is the issue?

Only way you can tell that is by pulling the timing cover... That's the only thing that could move and I'd be surprised as hell if you had an engine that jumped a tooth... Near impossible on a setup that has no where near enough slack to do so.

That's not going to tell you anything because the ignition timing is electronically controlled... You can't change it... There is a sensor on the block that reads grooves cut in the crank for when to fire the spark plugs... If you think that's a possible issue then replace the crank sensor in the back of the block.

Timing I was referring to was crank to cam timing because that's all that can be mechanically "modified" or messed up without a tuner.
