You pretty much just gave a TEXT BOOK description of a bad or failing fuel pump. Something which I noticed only ONE person in this entire thread mentioned.

That pressure test should have verified that to you , judging by the results of it.

I would change the fuel pump or just get the complete assembly which makes life easier. Make sure you also put the NEW wiring harness on and a new fuel filter (yes I know you just replaced yours, but you need to put a brand new one on when doing a new fuel pump) as well as a new "sock" filter (if it doesn't come with one already) on the assembly.

I recommend the assembly because in a car that old, it's always a good idea, as the sending units are usually off anyhow and just due to the sheer age of the unit.

filter has been changed, also ive come down to think its the injectors now, i pulled the whole rail out injectors and all and flipped the switch on even tho the pump was on and fuel hit the lines nothin came out of the injectors, changed the fuel pressure regulator and still nothin, im thinking that the injectors are clogged up which could be why it started with a small sputter and slowly got worse. the injectors will spray but you have the trn the motor over 2 or 3 times before you will get a little spit and then nothing again. does anyone no if there is a injector relay or somethin that would cause them to not work besides the fuse in the dash or am i looking at swapping the injectors out

Nothing is going to come out of the injectors unless the engine is actually turning.

you sure i has a 89 that you could flip the switch on and it would spray out everywhere, also even then the fuel doesnt i can turn the motor over and it usually takes 3 or 4 turns before it will actually shoot fuel out

There are only two things that can cause the fuel pressure to be too high. One is a faulty regulator, the other is a blocked/pinched return line.

Why would you change the pump if the pressure is reading too high? That doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

put injectors on it and that helped it alot, it actually runs great besides the fact that when you stomp on the gas to hard it will start to sputter out.. not sure what this could be cuasing it... anybody got any solutions.

A running scan of the ECM would help diagnose the problem much easier than just throwing parts at it. You could be here all day going through fuel parts and ignition parts.
