shifter change
shifter change
i would like to change the shifter in my 94 z/26 does b & m or someone else make a shifter that will fit right in without any mod's? i have seen members here with shifters with the button on the side and i would be willing to do that if there is not a shift kit available...what are these t knobs off of?

An Alero actually has a real neat somewhat angled t'handle.

does the handle fit right on or do i need the whole shifter?

Just the handle. Pull the U shaped clip out from the front of the shifter to swap them (put it in L and look on the shaft portion of the handle).
