my friend wants to put a 3400 top end and heads on his 1996 base beretta with the 3100. what kinda gains would we be looking at with this swap? also, do we need the exhaust manifolds?

he would pick up more in the topend and it would give him more of kick when he gets on it and the manifolds do flow lil better from what ive heard

the rear manifold flows much better than a 3100.  Between the intakes, exhaust manifolds, 2.5" exhaust, and the 3400 TB you should see anywhere from a 15-20hp gain

i also am looking to do this again. havent been to the site in a while due to a new job. but i have some money again at least. i was just wondering if the 3400 and 3100 pushrods are the same.  i asked before but cant remember the answer. but my friend thinks he has a pair of 3400 heads and intake laying around and i might be able to get em cheap or possibly free.
