No Brake and turn signals.

Today my brake lights and turn signals went out. On the brake lights they all work as parking lights but not as brake lights also the turn signals do not work on both sides. What can it be?
Already checked fuses and light bulbs and they are good.

Before I remove the turn signal switch, does this switch also make the brake lights not work?

Yes the brake lights are controlled in that since there is not a separate light for brake vs blinker. It all has to run from the brake switch up to the signal assy then it goes to the tail lights, so if you have a bad signal switch the tails are never even seeing the request for brake lights.

Only light that's independently controlled is the high mount or "third" brake light. This is why snipping the white wire that goes to the signal switch is part of the euro tail wiring mods it stops the brake lights from working and you need to re-wire them to the third brake light.

So I fixed the no brake and no turn signals. You guys where right it was the turn signal switch.
