got screwed by a local vinyl guy!!

Post by themadness »

a guy i know here in town cut a beretta sticker for my windshield. i asked him about it a few months ago and he quoted me 25 bucks. being the awesome lady my wife is she bought it for me for christmas as a surprise. in the process he charged her 40 knowing that he quoted me a lower price. on top of that he used the thinnest, cheapest vinyl he had. in the process of putting on i discovered tears in the vinyl itself(under the transfer paper). of course that lead to disaster in the application process. so not only did we lose money, i also dont have a christmas present. BULLS@$T

his main job isnt vinyl work, he just does it on the side from time to time.

mostly just a rant but should i call him on it?

I'd still call him out on it since he screwed your wife over knowing what he previously offered you, and bottom line the vinyl he used sucked.

Yeah, call him and bitch. Hell, you could threaten to spread the word of the quality of his stuff, most reputable places would rather spare the little bit of money it would cost them to replace it than have someone spreading bad stuff about them I'd imagine.
