Did you lower your car?

Want some new struts? What brand springs to buy? How much camber to run? What brake pads? What's the best setup for your situation....

Did you lower your car?

Post by weba »

This is what happen on my car, control arm has hit the fuel lines going over it on bumbs & potholes, and acted as guillotine for the fuel lines!

I'm using konis & sprints on my car, witch most likely drop the car most of aftermaket parts, but are know to be too soft.. so this is what you will get, i'd suggest everyone to check the condition of those lines, mine were spraying fuel all around.

All this could be avoided by adjusting the shape of the control arm... just do it before you start leaking fuel, my tip.

I fill up for $130. Also Beretta owner since 2004

Newer cars are not routed like that...

Plus if that cuts your fuel, it could also cut the brake lines.... Cut both rears and your whole car is screwed as the brakes probably run diagonally (left front, right rear on one line)
