CAR AUDIO HELP!!

Post by camcore »

I have a Pioneer DEH 4400HD in my 1992 Beretta and a Alpine MRV 100M amplifier powering 2 10 inch subwoofers. My power line is supplying sufficient power to the amplifier but the remote power line, (the line wired from the back of the stereo to the amplifier so it turns off and on when the car is turned off or on) is not supplying the correct voltage and wont turn on the amp. I know for sure that the amp is functional (I did a power jump with a paper clip from main power to remote power) I am checking the connection at the back of the amp now, but if someone can help me and tell me if I have the remote power wired to the proper wire coming out of the head unit. (blue and white wire) any tips would be helpful.

Check the fuses on the amp. Its usually a blue and white wire that the amp is hooked to on the back of the stereo.
