Color Change Suggestion
Color Change Suggestion
Okay, re-painting the car in May. Wondering what everyone's suggestions are. Currently my Z26 is Black Rose Metallic. I was thinking about going to black cherry.. I want to keep it dark, but a bit darker than BRM is, without having to do a custom mix. I will also be painting a set of GTZ wheels the same color and tinting the car. The interior is gray/black if it matters
. The engine bay is black, silver, and blue. (The header wrap was blue but turned white..).
And a semi-related question: which usbody cowl hood does everyone purchase? The 550 one or the 350 one? And does that include freight?

the 550 one has a hing mount so you don't have to lift it off, that's the version I have. And IIRC no that does not include freight.

Re: Color Change Suggestion
If you're repainting BRM or black cherry, I think I would change the blue details to another color.

And if you go with a black cherry mix, use the blend they used with the 94-96 Impalas.

Re: Color Change Suggestion
With the 550 one are hood pins required?
From blue to what? The blue is just the boost couplers. The only common coupler colors I've seen are red and black and I don't really want more black in there.. When I swap to a 3500 all the header wrap will go to the natural cream color.
I was thinking of the 08 silverado black cherry.. But I'm still up for new ideas.

Re: Color Change Suggestion
My vote is British racing green. And green couplers too. No really, it would be the only Beretta in that color.

I think it'd be the only Beretta in Black Cherry alsoMoney pit Beretta wrote:My vote is British racing green. And green couplers too. No really, it would be the only Beretta in that color.
