90 indy dash skin install
Hi.
Im new to beretta net but not to berettas. Just about to install a dash skin [cover] on my indy. seems pretty cut and dry but i was thinking about possible problems . Ive dry fitted to hell and back . trimmed the existing and like the fit. I am interested to see if anybody has experienced any problems and/or can give me some advice. Whats your experience? Thanks.

Re: 90 indy dash skin install
Here's some info and pics.
He did that with the windshield out. I'm curious on how eyeryone's dealing with the grate. I think, after looking at mine and how the warp by the vent is trying to rip it out, if its better to cut around the grate, remove it, and glue it on top of the cap.
How much and where did you trim? You should do a build thread, if your not done by now.

Hey thanks for the input. To answer your question on trimming i had to wack it pretty good. existing was warped pretty bad. I wasnt real concerned do to the instructions stateing dime sized spots of adhesive. Just painted it tonite and the surrounding areas for color match .My skin has a cut out for the emblem which is not as good as one with just the indent. Im still in the planning stages there.Im proposing to install a backing so the emblem goes on the outer edge. I have taken pics along the way [ to many lol ] of the entire restoration so a thread could be done. Your idea on the grate is exactly what im going to do. I'll get some pics up soon . any thoughts?
