Re: BStuff/B.net Blast from the Past
I'm Sorry if this is taboo, but what happened to the "other" site?
Re: BStuff/B.net Blast from the Past
bstuff died because the Administrator didn't pay the hosting fees, as I understand it. The site had crashed once or twice earlier for the same reason, and some of the more caring board-members chipped-in to save it, but it just didn't last long after that. It was a very sudden, abrupt death.

Re: BStuff/B.net Blast from the Past
Correct... It had an admin/owner who was less than interested in Beretta's anymore and just let it go... It was a bit of a disappointment due to the posts that were on there but not much we can do about it... Will had contacted him multiple times to try and re-gain control of it to save it but never got a reply.
The domain name was paid by Shawn a few times, but it was the hosting that ran out and no one can take over that without permission from the owner. Paying the domain fee they didn't care.

I still have the forum data from a backup, but I think it was a few months before we were hacked.weba wrote:RIP all the long-gone Beretta sites\forums... but hey, berettaspeed.com is still onlineforums are gone tho and absolutely everything outdated.
The site is long past due for an overhaul, but you're right, at least it isn't dead. More importantly, the owners of the site are still two dedicated owners and active in the community.
