How big is a new rocker panel part?

Post by Dwnld »

I was searching RockAuto's website and found this part under Body-Exterior. Sadly those images are stupidly low quality and photographed from bad angles (no offense) so I have no idea what area it could replace.

Can anyone take a photo of a real car and then draw a line of the rocker panel area to give some direction how big it is?

Just make a template take it to a metal shop and asked them to bend it for the length of the car. Our cars come with lovely side skirts that cover up all the ugly, as for the white clips to hold them on, run a sheet metal screw into the middle. The panels I had made lasted a lot longer than the aftermarket panels, also were easier to weld to.

Get one custom made, you don't want the Taiwanese crap that's been painted with even crappier paint.

I just sandblasted mine + re-coated, they are good to go for several years now :)
