-89 GTU headliner fabric color "code"

Hi,
my fathers -89 GTU needs new headliner fabric,but I need to know right color before order.It has red interior and headliner,only ones what I have found are 1872 scarlet and 1654 dark burgundy.Same colors as here:

Can you say which one is the right colour code(1872 or 1654) or neither?

I don't know if they actually had color codes on the interior. Typically when doing carpet and such, the best thing is to ask for a sample swatch and match that up to what's in the car now.

A good local paint shop can match factory colors also.
