well i have a 1989 white GTU auto and have a 3.1 to swap out the blown 2.8 i was told 95% will bolt right back up and what computer will have to be swaped with the 3.1 if this is true will a cavalier computer work i have a buddy who wreaked his and has 1. A;so will i need to put another tranny in for the 3.1?

Yea , direct swap. No alterations needed, tranny will bolt up fine, existing computer will work fine. GL.
