Loss of power
I am having a problem with power a few minutes after driving after the car has sat for a while. It is a '94 Z26 3100.
What goes on is that I'll jump in the car in the morning and start going along. About 2 minutes or so (as soon as the temp gauge starts to move) the car will lose all of its power. I'll hold the gas at a slow and steady speed increase and all the sudden, the car feels and sounds like the fuel was just choked out. The car usually remains running if I slowly press the gas down. Randomly, the engine will catch back and launch the car forward like if you would go from idle to putting the gas to nearly the floor.
This entire problem does not happen when completely cold or when the temp reaches a normal temp. It is only a 2 to 4 minute problem then all ok.

I would really try to find someone with a scanner that can read the datastream and watch all the sensors values as the problems occuring. Much easier than the shotgun approach.
