Hard Starting....
Ok, so here is a new one for you guys, I've got a 95 beretta, 3100 v6, just over 130,000 on it. Has always been a good running car, but lately is giving some issues. Here's what has happened.
1. Started getting harder to start, would crank well, sputter a little like it wanted to start, then finally start.
2. Changed fuel filter, no dice.
3. Changed all 3 coil packs, no change.
4. Plugs and plug wires are only about 2 years old, but not much mileage on them.
Once the car is started, it will run ok, but it seems to hesitate a little, like if you get on the road and hit the gas, it will hesitate, then will smooth out and take off. Once I get it started, it runs ok, and if you shut it off, and try to restart, it starts right up. Seems to have more issues if it's sat for about 5 hours so. Any ideas? Not sure that it would be a fuel pump or anything, since I do smell gas sometimes, and it will run. The ones I have seen go, they typically just die. Anyone got any ideas? Throttle Posiiton Sensor perhaps?

Re: Hard Starting....
Check your fuel pressure when your starting, put a gauge on the schrader valve by the p/s pump and just turn key to on, it should be between 35-45 psi, if its 0 then your fuel pressure regulator on your rail isnt holding pressure.

Re: Hard Starting....
Ok, because here's the other weird thing, I left it sitting for a full day without starting it at all, then decided to start it at about 7 last night, turned the key, no start on the first time, 2nd try it started right up. Which lately has not been normal. If it's something like say the fuel pressure regulator how much do you think it typically runs? Thanks.

FPR's are around 50-70 IIRC...
It's been a while since I bought one.

Little UFO looking thing on the front fuel rail, next to the throttle body, it should have a vacuum line going to it.
