Beretta SS...?!
Beretta SS...?!
Hey all, I hope this question hasn't been asked and answered elsewhere...
Lately I've seen two adverts online for used Berettas, both designated as "SS" models. There is nothing I can see that makes them an "SS" model... there are no suspension or engine upgrades. One of the cars I saw was a Base 4 cyl. and the other was a 3.1. Both had 14" wheels with wheelcovers.
I did a bit of digging around on Google, and I found one page where the owner claims that his "SS" (can't help but put that in quotes) came from the factory and it is designated an "SS" on the order sheet.
I've never heard of a Beretta SS. Were they just a cheesy sticker package? To me, it looks like that's all it was.
Anyone out there actually have one? Care to share the details?

Re: Beretta SS...?!
The SS decals are a dealer installed trim option that was nothing but a $$ add on for the dealer.
Has absolutely no official designation at all.

Has absolutely no official designation at all.

That's what I thought. I mean, how is a base 4-cyl Beretta an SS?asylummotorsports wrote:The SS decals are a dealer installed trim option that was nothing but a $$ add on for the dealer.
