Do I owe you 20? or 25? bottom line I'm asking do I need to pay for the track now or there? or is it both? I dont know what arrangements you have with the track yet.

Well they evidently know we are coming.

Their schedule lists "Berretta(sp) Club" on August 15th.

Well yes, but I was wondering if that $5 is going to cover the racing fee... I can't imagine they gave us that much of a discount... last years it was 15 to 20 to run. I was just wondering if they gave us like a group rate that is one lump sum and Will is going to pay it when we arrive and we can just drive in after tech.

The way I took it is the people who show up for only the drag racing owe Will $5 instead of the full fee. Then they pay our group track to the track to race.

The $5 is to cover the cost of the raffle items, it has nothing to do with the track fee. Even if you leave right after, you will still be in for the raffles, I will just mail the prizes out if the people are gone.

Plus as I understand it you can come to the cookout/BBQ for a lousy $5 one-day registration.

WILL: I will be in touch as to our involvement with the BBQ! Just need to see some registration numbers.

To clarify, the cookout is NOT covered by the $5 drag raffle fee.

If you are coming to the track and the BBQ it is $15.

I am trying to have more than just hamburgers and hot dogs at the event and will be making up the difference, if any, out of pocket. We do not have a North East fund set up as of yet.

Will if you need some out of pocket coverage, let me know. This trip is very cheap for me as well as you in comparison to others since we have next to nothing for travel, so I can help out.

I'm going to order the trophies next week and I was thinking that while the race ones pretty well award themselves, the Best Engineered should be voted on, as opposed to my arbitrary decision.

However what do folks think the criteria should be?

And who gets to vote?

BTW what are we calling this thing insofar as having the trophies engraved?

B'Fest NE?

North East?

Something made up?

Asylum Motorsports Nationals?

I still think the Stripper Pole-Fest was the best idea!!

How about we stop being retarded with the pole obsession and grow up a little?

OK But can I change it around so it sounds better.

How about "2009 BerettaFest North East"

I'm doing;

Quickest N/A Quad

Quickest N/A V6 (ME!!!)

Quickest Overall Entry

Best Engineered Entry, which I feel should be voted on, however we would need to establish some criteria. If not it falls back to me and I will award it to the entry that impresses me the most for it's technical workings and just how well it all comes together.
