Want some new struts? What brand springs to buy? How much camber to run? What brake pads? What's the best setup for your situation....

Rear axle replacement and other GM cars

Post by Hazzbin »

Hi all, a few of us recently bought a 1994 Z26 with a quad 4 which we'll be using for a project. It's a northern car and we've discovered rust in the trunk beside the spring mounts. No biggie, new metal will take care of that, but we've also discovered some areas of the rear axle itself which have rusted through.

We'll be off to pullapart to take a look, but our questiona are this:

1) Are there any other GM models which use the same rear axle?

2) Do any of those models use disc rear brakes or is the Neon solution the only solution?

Thanks in advance.

Only the beretta rear axles should be used and when looking at beretta's only 87-94 will work for your application.

94 Beretta Z26 57,4xx miles
3100, auto, crank windows, power locks/trunk, A/C,
To many mods to list
-intercooler

Among beretta boards
1st Turbo 4t60-e
1st Turbo 3100
1st Turbo Z26
1st 94+ Turbo
