Re: windshield removal
Safelight will repalce it for you with new glass. It's not as good as the OEM, but after time the OEM glass warps making it hard to see through. What's wrong with yours?

Re: windshield removal
Don't try to take it out yourself. You'll likely ruin the trim and the seal, although you probably will need a new seal anyway.
Windshields on Berettas are only about $100 wholesale.
I had one of mine done for $175 complete, so call around.

Re: windshield removal
Usually it's $50 out and $50 in if you supply the glass, but then all you are getting is another used windshield.
These cars are almost 15-20 years old. Finding a good used one would be difficult!

$150 installed...
That's all I paid.
And I only had to get it done because when I went to Raleigh for my friends wedding it got nailed by a rock on the way home and chipped it good right in the middle.

Re: windshield removal
I think I paid like 145 at Safelight and was very happy with the new one. Before that I thought I needed glasses.

Re: windshield removal
Been debating that myself. I still have the original windshield in my car. 220k miles will definitely cause pitting. LOL

Re: windshield removal
I did my windshield myself and its the last one ill ever do probably. Big PITA.
I cut the junkyard one out with a hood release cable. I have a seal cutter made for windshields but it is very hard to use. You need to remove the fenders to use it on a beretta.
Then cutting the old one out of your car is even more annoying because you have to be extra careful.
Putting it in is no big deal though. Ended up costing me 75 anyway for the glass and 2 tubes of window weld

Yes but you put in another used pitted windshield... Mine was as smooth as glass... Pun intended. And its on their buck if it leaked... which it didn'tBarry wrote:I did my windshield myself and its the last one ill ever do probably. Big PITA.
