bad start
I have a problem with my rpms going up and down after the engine has started. It will bounce up and down three or four times and then act normal. Sometimes it will start normal, but most of the time it will bounce. I have changed the IAC,MAP,TPS,crank and cam sensors, cleaned the TB and Sea Foamed down the brake booster. As for vac leaks I have checked only the lines around the engine so far. Lower intake gaskets has been changed, but there is a small oil leak near the TB(not that whould have anything to do with it). The fuel pump sounds ok. I haven't checked the pressure, but I don't feel the need to.
One thing is the battery...it's five years old. Guess it could be running out of juce at the end of the start. But I've never had any trouble with it. The starter has been tested, but is OEM and is a 95. I'm out of ideas and getting sick of it. It's more of a pride thing. People look at my car and say what an old POS.
I have changed all of this do to other problems(or just wanted new stuff to make sure the engine runs the best that it can). I must add that I have a two year old high flow cat and Magnaflow muffler, so no problems there.

Alternator tested?
Maybe its the good ol' cracked upper?
You get a code?
Check purge system/canister for leaks or clogged.

What the hell? Did I forget to hit submit?
The alt is new, the stock one had a bad regulator. No code, I have yet to get one for anything other than ABS codes that I can't read with what I have.
I'll check the upper, but I trust the guy that sent it. LOL I'll look. I still have the upper and big bore TB to put on when I do the LIMG again.
Need to check the purge system. Thanks for the post!
