Turn Signal Switch
ok so my tss went out. I bought a new one. now i haven't yet torn the steering wheel off of a corsica/beretta. (probably about the only thing i havent torn apart. lol) now can anyone point me in the direction of tearin it down and install. thank you very much. its a 92 corsica 2.2l w/tilt.

Rent a steering wheel remover tool and a steering lock plate remover tool, also purchase a set a torx screwdrivers if you don't already have them. Have fun!

i have the torx bits. now the two other i have those tools are they all the same as in universal use or what?

The lock plate tool is usually universal, but the steering wheel puller in not.

GM used the same one pretty much forever. Some harmonic balancer remover tools also work for the steering wheel.

I used just a balancer puller. Theres a clip and spring in there that is a pain in the butt if I remember corectly too

That's what you need the steering lock plate remover tool for. sp33d1nc0rs1ca, if you're going to rent or buy a tool, you might as well get the one meant for the job, unless you already have a balancer puller that is...Barry wrote:I used just a balancer puller.
